We went to the 24th Copdock Classic Motorcycle Show in Ipswich that was held on Sunday 4th October. It is a brilliant motorcycle show organised totally by volunteers in aid of various charities, with a huge trade area, custom bike tent & bike show that grows every year.
We had organised to share the stand with our friends from Down & Out Cafe Racers who brought two of their current buiilds, a BMW and a Triumph that we made the yokes for, its always good when we get to see our manufactured parts on bikes as we get the chance to see if we could change anything in the future.
Its been a crazy few weeks trying to get the new build finished and we did manage to get it almost finished, enough to be able to exhibit it on our stand along with the cafe racer and both were a big hit with visitors. The frame on the cafe racer always draws people in as the chrome powder coating is quite new. Thanks to H & S Powder Coatings for that one and the new matt black frame on the new build. The Cafe Racer proved popular and won 1st in its Class which we were very pleased with so with that and the article in 100% BIker Magazine last week, its been a good week.
The new build - No 2 - is more of a street scrambler/tracker built from a 1200 Evo Sportster with a matt finish across the whole bike. The frame was powder coated at H & S again and the paintwork was completed in an incredibly short time by Hilary & Herbie at Hurricane Airbrush Art and looks fantastic, we will be getting some proper pictures done once its finished completely but below is one taken of the stand at the motorcycle show in the custom tent.
